McKenna's best day EVER!

The other day when I picked McKenna up from school before she could even sit in her seat she said "Today was the best day ever!" They had their Flat Stanley day at school. Flat Stanley as you can see is a little paper guy that goes on adventures with someone who doesn't live in your state. Aunt Lindsay took McKenna's Flat Stanley on adventures, took pictures and kept a journal, it turned out so cute and made us all a little homesick for aunt Lindsay and Uncle Jared. Thank you for giving McKenna "the best day EVER!" we love you!

What we do.

If your wondering why I don't blog much, it's because we do the same thing every day. I clean and the kids play so here is a rundown, your allowed to fall asleep during this presentation.

We go to kid friendly places and play.

We play inside.
The same snowman two days later.

We play outside...The End.

We had such a good time with our family last week. It was Doni's, my sister-in-law's, birthday so I thought it would be fun to have a cake off like on Food Network so I baked 8 round cakes for us to work with and we worked in teams of sisters. Below is the finished product...not the half eaten product. The cake was way too flaky to work with and within ten minutes the project was doomed, it only made the whole experience so much funner. It was hilarious listening to Doni and Elise in their never failing optimism over their project. This is the cake that Cassie and I made. If you can't tell they are suppose to be purses. The funny thing is before we even started the project we were all looking on the computer for cake ideas. We came across some purse cakes and in looking over all the pictures we found some we thought shouldn't even be on the Internet they were so ugly. I have to say that not one of the purses on the Internet was nearly as ugly as our finished products.
We all went to the Zoo together. Since our brief experience with our dog Katie my kids have almost completely gotten over their fear of animals. The playground and petting zoo are right next to each other, Karina was not even tempted by the playground she was having too much fun with the animals.

My sister Cassie, my brother Tyler and me.

Thanks for coming guys. Love ya!
